So I've talked about my home garden but I really didn't give information on how to purchase the necessary things for a home garden. If you have old planting pots at home they will be perfect for gardening, if not don't worry. Using house hold items like 2 litter soda bottles, large butter containers, or any other large plastic container are usable for a home garden. Make sure you wash out the containers before using them as part of your garden.
Purchasing seeds are just as cheap as buying a two litter bottle of soda. Home Depot, Wal Mart, Walgreen's, and other stores such as those to buy packs of seeds. I received my seeds from Ms. Kroeger so I did not pay for my seeds, but on the packages she let me use they were priced at $1.00 to $2.50 the most. There are plenty of seeds in the packages for more than just one planting season and for one pot. Follow the instruction of the back of the seeding package to help your garden sprout.
You should also be able to purchase a bag of soil at a Home Depot, Wal Mart, Malgreens or the same store you purchased your seeds at.
Simply fill your containers with a decent amount of soil, which will vary depending on what you are growing, and apply your seeds, which will also vary depending on what yo u are planting. Water your garden when necessary, and watch your garden grow.
*Different seasons are for different plants so refer back to my first post with a list of vegetables to grow depending on the season.
