I went to the dentist earlier this week and the assistant asked if I floss. I do occasionally and she said it's very important to floss because research suggest plaque buildup in your teeth could contribute to heart disease. She said the bacteria in your feel continues to build up and the bacteria affects your heart. Flossing gets rid of some of the plaque and bacteria and could decrease one factor of getting heart disease.
Obesity is also associated with heart disease due to the fat in your body could be used as an energy source and when it travels through your veins it could build up and block blood flow from getting to the heart. Plaque build up constricts your veins and could cause damage or tissue death to your heart. Obesity contributes to a lot of other diseases that are life threatening.
